If you suspect that your child is using illegal drugs or alcohol, we have services to help you.

YOU CAN USE THESE SERVICES IF YOUR CHILD LIVES INCANADIAN COUNTY, EVEN IF A CASE HAS NOT BEEN FILED.

There is no charge to the parents or the juvenile to access any program, any treatment, any service that is provided by the Canadian County Children’s Justice Center.

At the Canadian County Children’s Justice Center, we have the following substance abuse related services available for your child:

Drug Screening Program: Through these urine screenings, it can be determined if the juvenile has had recent drug use.

Substance Abuse Assessment: Assessments are used to determine the level of treatment or care that juvenile needs.

Ft. Reno Adolescence Center: Drug and alcohol treatment in a group home setting.  The juveniles live in the facility for the duration of the program.  It usually takes approximately five (5) to six (6) months to complete.

Out Patient Treatment: Sometimes a juvenile’s substances abuse issues can be addressed on an out - patient basis.  The child lives at home, but attends counseling and other services at the Juvenile Center.

Everything we do for you and your child will remain confidential.  If your child submits to a drug screen at your request, the results will only be provided to you.  A screen that indicates that your child has used drugs recently will not be given to law enforcement or to the courts.  This way you can focus on getting help for your child.  Of course, if your child is out of control and you need the assistance of the court, that can occur at your request.  We are here to help in any manner we can.
